Thailand is famous for its Soapy Massage. I remember when I showed up at Annie’s Massage in Bangkok for the first time. What an amazing sexually-thrilling experience for a young impressionable man on his first trip to Thailand.
Here many years later I sit and reminisce about the first time I enjoyed a real true Thai-style soapy and I discover that Annie’s in Bangkok is no more and has moved/integrated with its sister site Chrome Bar on Sukhumvit 7/1.
Annie’s was a Bangkok staple but there are many, many other massage parlors and wellness spas offering a soapy style massage.
What is Soapy Massage?
Traditionally soapies are more of an upscale posh affair but over the years, I’ve run into a couple of places between Bangkok and Pattaya that wouldn’t be considered as such.
Soapy massages usually happen in big hotel-style buildings with plenty of room downstairs for a Fish-Bowl display and a bar with many individual rooms upstairs fitted out with a tub or shower table setup and a nice place to fuck after the massage.
Usually, you’ll enter the establishment and be led into a bar area in front of a display of 15 to 25 or more sexy Thai girls with numbers pinned to whatever they’re wearing.
This is where you’ll sit and enjoy a drink and decide if any of the ladies are up to massaging you.
Once a decision is made you’ll pay the mamasan or manager and be led up to your private bath and massage room.
This is where the beautiful young nude Thai woman you chose with satisfying assets helps soap you up, and wash you, while sensually rubbing her soapy body against yours.
A Soapy is basically a body massage with soap. First, she scrubs you head to toe taking extra care of your private areas especially, and then the massage will proceed from there.
It’s quite an exhilarating experience if you get a girl who cares about what she is doing.
This rubbing and squeezing go on for as long as you can handle until you either slip into her right there and blow your top or sometimes the two of you will get out of the bath/shower table and move to a bed/massage table and finish there.
It’s pretty standard to have another shower/cleanup session after you blow.
This is a perfect time to try and get her Line ID if you would like to meet her outside of work hours for more fun.
Securing a girl for outcall service is also on the menu in all the establishments I mention in this blog post so don’t forget to call ahead to schedule a private soapy back at your room.
Soapy massage is a coveted Thailand treasure by international businessmen and travelers for many years and it’s quite easy to understand what they are raving about.
Check out this crazy Youtube video I found filmed on the streets of Bangkok in the Patpong area as a man is shown several Soapy Massage girls to choose from.
Check out the video here.
What Is Nuru Massage?
Nuru massage is a Japanese massage style similar to soapy but the main difference is that Nuru massage uses warm oil instead of soap when the masseuse lathers you up for your body massage.
Nuru massage and soapy massage are often available in the same establishments but not exclusively.
Nuru seems to have overtaken in popularity and availability these days.
How Expensive Are Soapy Massages?
Price varies from venue to venue but generally, you can expect to pay anywhere from 1900 baht and up for full-service soapy including sex.
Add the drinks you buy for yourself and her plus tip and the sky is the limit.
The classier the joint, how young and more gorgeous the women are, the more you’ll pay for standard services.
It’s a Thailand experience that I strongly recommend for every adventurous traveler I have the chance of speaking with about planning their travels.
Where To Find Soapy Massage Parlor?
You can find soapies in most of the bigger cities in Thailand. Especially in tourist places like Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya, and Chiang Mai.
Bangkok is probably the most famous and respected city when discussing of the quality and amount of different spas offering soapy services.
I’ll list my 3 favorite Soapy joints in Bangkok and Pattaya.

Tips for an Amazing Soapy Massage
Don’t forget these places aren’t your average Pattaya Soi 6 Girlie Bar. Leave the Chang tank top shirt at the hostel or hotel and try to button up a little.
Hygiene and the trimming of body hair show that you care about your appearance but can also motivate your massage girl to give you a better experience if you’re not a hairy, stinking, and sweaty mess.
These gestures go a long way in helping you ensure that you don’t waste your money and have an excellent experience as possible.
Are Soapy Massages Worth Getting?
When I was still traveling back and forth from home to Thailand multiple times a year, every time I would fly back to Thailand I would stop in at Annie’s in Bangkok for my much anticipated Soapy from my favorite girl Lek.
In my eye, Lek couldn’t rub me wrong. We met up a few times after her shifts late at night for street food but lost touch after I had to be away for an extended time.
Thailand’s Redlight scene isn’t something to be scoffed at.
If you’re searching for some of the most erotic affordable fun you can have while visiting some of the most beautiful tropical beaches and islands in the world, you’re in the right place.
